social and academic contacts. See consultant and specialist links below for business contacts.
- Consultancies: E-mail addresses of archaeological consultants and consultancy firms.
- Specialists and illustrators: E-mail addresses of specialists who can analyse finds and samples;
also conservators and illustrators (not photographers, who are listed in a different section)
- Museums: The principal museums of archaeological interest. Additional museums are listed in the
Regional section.
- Universities and Colleges: Archaeology departments in Irish universities, and departments
elsewhere offering relevant courses.
- Research Bodies: Organisations whose main rôle is archaeological research.
- Summer Schools and Tours: Summer schools/field schools offering university credits or simply
for interest; also organised tours.
- Societies: The principal archaeological societies in Ireland. Additional societies are listed
in the Regional section.
- Government Institutions: Various State-run institutions (except museums - see above) involved
in archaeology.
